PICKETTS LOCK

TTH, working with FaulknerBrowns, was selected from an international short list to design the new National Athletics Stadium at Picketts Lock, North London to host the 2005 World Athletics Championship.

The design comprised a 43,000 seat capacity stadium, capable of reducing after the Championships and Centre of Excellence facilities.

The project was halted by the Government due to funding constraints..
