A planning application has been submitted to Northumberland County Council for a Petrol Filling Station, just off the A1 Alnwick bypass at Cawledge, on the Shilbottle road.
The proposal also includes the provision of a shop and a drive through fast food outlet, which the applicant, Northumberland Estates hopes will bring further benefits for local people and tourists to the area.
